Your office has three entrances: a central hallway and two side air vents. You must constantly be checking all three with your flashlight to see if any animatronics are approaching. Different animatronics have different behaviors and require different methods to repel. Most of the ‘toy’ animatronics will be fooled if you quickly put on your Freddy mask when they enter your office. However, some of the old, withered animatronics will not be fooled by the mask. On top of all this, you must also periodically wind up a music box via your camera monitor. If the music box winds down completely, a new and deadly puppet-like animatronic will come to get you. This creates a constant, frantic cycle of winding the music box, checking the vents and hallway, and quickly putting on your mask. It is an incredibly stressful and masterfully designed horror game.

Your goal is to survive from midnight to 6 a.m. Use your mouse to look around. Use your flashlight to check the hallway and the vents. If you see an animatronic, quickly put on your Freddy mask (usually by clicking a button at the bottom of the screen) and wait for them to leave. You must also regularly switch to your camera monitor and click and hold on the music box button to keep it wound up. Survive five nights.
